Meet the Linniar Team
Lahn Straney, PhD
Dr Lahn Straney is an Epidemiologist and director at Linniar. He has expertise in the development of methods for measuring the quality of care and over 10 years of experience in the aged care sector. He holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Queensland and undertook a post-doc in biostatistics at the University of Washington. He holds an adjunct appointment as a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Garry is the Chief Executive Officer at Linniar with over 25 years of experience in the Software industry in Europe, the United States, Canada, Asia, and Australia. He has worked in Enterprise Software, Systems Integration, Management Consulting, Investment Banking and Board Advisory roles. For the last 10 years Garry has been leading software companies providing SaaS solutions in the aged care, home care, retirement living and disability services sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
Riona is the Operations Manager at Linniar. With experience in project management and improving data quality, Riona brings a keen interest in improving data literacy across the adult social care sector. Riona's goal at Linniar is to empower providers with their data to improve the outcomes of the people under their care. Riona holds a Bachelor of Social Science, with a major in Statistics from Macquarie University.
